Over the past few days I’ve been posting some autumn photos to G+ (follow me here) and they have been well received. So I thought I might collect them all and repost here. Enjoy

As I mentioned last week, things have been slightly busy lately. Last week, this week, and possibly next one I am commuting 4 hours a day which combined with work leaves little time for editing photos and posting them here. But not all is lost!

Not only is this a must read, but you are helping out by buying it.

Well, it’s finished. At least for now. I think everything’s working. Please be sure to let me know if you come across any bugs or anything that looks weird.
I’ll do a post within the next few days detailing some of the changes for any interested.
The gallery has changed the most, so be sure to check that out. Let me know if you like it.

Warning: I’m in the process of upgrading the site. It’s a minor upgrade, but yet there may be some problems because I’m completely replacing some of the main blog files, which may not be entirely necessary this time but will make upgrading in the future much easier.
So hopefully there won’t be any problems, but if the site looks funky for the next few hours, you know why. I’ll issue another update when everything is finished.

Specifically, Kawazu-zakura (kah-wah-zoo-zah-ku-rah), the first kind of cherry blossoms to bloom every year.
This past year they started to bloom the first week of February. This photo was taken the first week of March, so that gives you an idea of how long this type lasts. It was still quite chilly, and very windy, but the cherry blossoms always bring everyone out and turn our thoughts to Spring.

I noticed yesterday that somehow my Hachiko post had been corrupted. No idea how that happened. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a backup, which is weird because my wordpress install usually makes an auto backup of every post. Oh well, no sense complaining about what is done, right? So I quickly re-wrote it. I don’t know if I really want to get into the habit of re-writing old posts, but in this case my hand was kind of forced.
Anyways, go read the new version of Hachiko here.
(and, by the way, if you come across any other corrupted posts, please email me so I can fix it)
