Multicolored Sky
Most people, I think, tend to stop taking photos of a sunset as soon as the sun disappears. That’s too bad, because often there is a great lightshow afterwards like the one you see below. Next time you watch a setting sun, wait about 5 – 10 minutes or so afterwards and see what happens.
More Explosive Clouds
Another of these explosive clouds! To be specific, as I was recently told on Google+ by Ryan Marquis, the foreground cloud here is cumulonimbus calvus and the background one is cumulonimbus. If you are interested

I don’t know what causes these clouds, but we get them every year around this time. Something to do with the mountains, the heat, and the humidity. Maybe. If anyone knows more than guesses, please let me know in the comments.

Flood After Typhoon
