Just Dropping In

Some weeping cherry blossoms today, shidarezakura (枝垂桜), of type edohigan (江戸彼岸) I think. (I’m far from a flower person, but I learn a little more every year in conversations with other sakura watchers).

I’ve been told this tree is a few hundred years old. The sakura on it only lasted a day or two before rain knocked them all down. Lucky I made it there in that time.
