Moody Sunset

A few days ago I posted a photo of the Oto River. Here is a different location along the same river, and towards evening as the sun was dropping. Instead of textures, this time I added some moody effects. What do you think?

See that line of trees along the left bank, by the way? All cherry blossoms. In a few weeks they will be blooming and the entire riverside will turn pink. It’s a sight to see.

  • My photo of Nagoya Castle in Black and White continues to be the most popular photo I’ve posted in awhile. I never know what is going to be popular here: usually when I post a monochrome image it gets far fewer hits than usual, but in this case it’s the reverse! I’l keep trying to figure this out, but in the meantime, go check out the shot. LINK

  • The Hidden Pond Lantern is a close second. Here’s another shot that was kind of experimental and I wasn’t sure if anyone would like it, but it’s proven very popular. Go have a look. LINK
