Daily HDR Photo — Hilltop Lookout
Overlooking a small portion of the city from a small hilltop temple. Nice sky.
About
Coming from a completely flat place in the States, the hilly and mountainous terrain of Japan is always a bit of a small thrill for me. This hill is nothing special, but it’s the kind of thing we just don’t have back home. Makes for a nice place to see the sunset.
I didn’t take the overgrown vegetation into consideration, though, when I set out here. Mosquitoes seem to like gathering here and I was bitten quite a few times while getting this shot. The things I do for you guys to get these photos. This was 6 different exposures, by the way. I wanted to get the entire range of that sky.

That photo is gorgeous. I love Japan! I was there for 3 weeks last month and I miss it already. Going back again next year. All your photos are beautiful. My little snappy camera is shameful in comparison. Jennifer — Australia
Thanks for the kind words, Jennifer. Hope you can come back to Japan soon!
