Today’s photo is a another from Iga Hachimangu. This one is a close-up of a closed lotus blossom and a dragonfly resting there.

These dragonflies are interesting creatures. Hold out a finger for a few moments and they nearly always fly over and rest on it. Something attractive about the human finger?
It was a very windy day when I took this photo so nothing was staying still for long. He flew away almost immediately as soon as my final shot went off. Was I lucky or did he politely wait for me to finish before leaving?
