I took and processed this photo last summer. We really had some amazing skys last year.
I probably wouldn’t process the photo so much if I did it today. My style has changed that much, at least. I think it’s a bit overdone, but I do like the color. It jumps out at you, eh? Be sure to click on it for a larger size.

Was this picture taken at summer sunset? The sky color (orange) is totally different from the pic (pink) you posted a couple of days ago. I think this one is closer to the sunset time?? I guess you’ve taken a lot of pictures of this bridge. It is a nice place. I don’t see cars at the river bank this time… because of no Sakura.… X_X
That’s right. I took it last September, which I imagine is the reason for the wild clouds (to any who don’t know, Sept is typhoon season in Japan).
This is actually a completely different location and different bridge than the sakura photo. Hmm.. but they do look alike, don’t they?

Beautiful shot Dave!! I am continually impressed with your compositions. Grass is an underappreciated addition to large shots.
Thanks, Blake! I agree. I was down on my elbows to get as much of the grass in the foreground as I did.
